FIRST TIME WAXING?
Don’t worry there’s always a first time for everything. Just make sure to have your hair grown out for at least 3 weeks. While growing it out, start exfoliating 2-3 times a week before your appointment
HOW TO PREPARE TO BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT :
Take a warm shower 1-2 hrs before your appointment, It will help soften the hair for it to come it easier
Wear loose clothing to your appointment, nothing tight fitting
Try to avoid caffeine/alcohol before (24hours before) your appointment. This can cause you to be more sensitive
Keep hydrated. Waxing over dehydrated skin can cause the skin to be sensitive & uncomfortable
WHAT TO DO AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT :
Book your next appointment 4-5 weeks out. Stay Consistent !
Avoid sweating, saunas, working out, swimming, and intercourse for 24-48 hrs after your wax
24-48 hrs after your appointment, start your exfoliating routine for 2-3 times a week. Keep the skin hydrated with unscented body lotion & drinking lots of water
STARTED YOUR PERIOD ? YOU CAN STILL GET WAXED :
You can still get waxed if you happened to start your period the day or week of your appointment just pop in a diva cup or clean tampon
Try to scheduled your appointment a week after your period. Waxing a week before or week of, can cause you to be more sensitive
PREGNANT? CONGRATS
You can still get waxed !
Starting in your early stages can help thin out your hair.You’re able to get waxed 6-8 weeks after giving birth
If you had a C-Section, wait 8 weeks & when doctor has cleared you.
